Travel Safety Guidelines
The Kincade wildfire that started on 23 October is concentrated in the northeastern part of Sonoma County which is approximately 100 miles from San Mateo. The area in and around San Mateo has not been significantly affected by the fires. The local power company, PG&E has restored power to the San Mateo area and at no time did the San Mateo Marriott experience any loss of power.
The safety and well-being of our attendees is our priority. We will continue to monitor any official travel advisories and work with our venue partner to take appropriate measures to remain current on the city’s preparedness. We will keep you informed as we learn more.
